Nike Air Max Day Worldwide
Nike Sportswear needed support for the launch of Air Max Day Worldwide, a global digital event honoring the culture behind one of Nike’s most popular shoes as well as showcasing the new 2021 sneaker series in a fresh, new light. The 24-hr livestream event featured a full itinerary of creative workshops, panels, collection tours and exclusive content happening in Istanbul, Barcelona, Milan, Toronto, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Chicago, New York, Shanghai and other cities across the globe.
space150 was tasked with providing strategy, creative concepting, and digital production services to create the assets needed for social and OOH promotion from preheat through day-of launch, as well as driving registration to the event.
Additionally, we were tasked with shooting LA-specific exclusive content, including a 20-minute green screen video featuring Dom Roberts (creative activist and host of the “The Uncomfortable Podcast”), rising R&B star UMI, and Vashti Cunningham (American and Olympic track & field athlete). We explored the areas of mindfulness, meditation, wellness, and mental health, with each guest sharing parts of their own personal path that helped shape their career and lead them to where they are today. The video was streamed on the AMD Live website during the event and was featured on OOH screens in Downtown LA.
